As we celebrate Mother’s Day today, we take time to give thanks for all that God has done for us. Be thankful for all that our parents have done.
In Matthew 7: 7-12, Jesus compares parents who love their children to the love God has for us. If we ask, we receive. If we seek, we find. If we knock, the door is opened. We can live the life God wants us to live, because he will provide for us. Jesus encourages us to go further. We can share his love with other people.
We all can do good things for other people in our lives, just like God already does for us. So: “Do to others what you would have them do to you.”
