Distant Voices

For 8 weeks, we'll explore some of the more vibrant and incredible personal narratives from the Bible, looking at the timeless and direct application that always reminds us of the timeless nature of the Bible.

What would it be like to be one of the father-in-law of one of the most important Old Testament players? What would it be like to stand before the king who had seen to the death of every person in your family? What would it be like to be a woman in a man's world in attempting to lead God's nation? Is there a message in Jonah beyond the fish? How difficult must it be confronting a king with his sin? What must it have been like to prepare the for the Messiah? And is there a more poignant story that Esther?

For these two months we'll follow these distant voices in hopes of encouraging our faith and our church today.
